PINO Network – Exporting Finnish Education
Oulu region offers a great variety of high quality products and solutions for both educational content and infrastructure – we can build the best learning environments! PINO Network has been set up to showcase the overall offering in this field and it’s our task to help regional companies and public functioners to widen their global reach.
The acronym PINO comes from the Finnish words “Pohjoisen Innovaatiot” which means “Northern innovations”. In Finnish “pino” also means a stack of things.
The network will help companies to put together the right products and services for international clients, either in small consortiums or with a larger group of partners. PINO can also help to develop education export offering.
PINO Network is part of the European Regional Development Fund funded KAAKAO and KOOKOS projects financed by the Council of Oulu Region, and European Social Fund funded KAHVI project financed by Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment. Projects are managed by Oulu University of Applied Sciences together with City of Oulu, Diaconia-University of Applied Science, Oulu Vocational College and University of Oulu.
