Why membership is important for us?
Education Finland brings together players from all education levels, both public and first-class private companies. Our joint aim is to help export education expertise, which comes in rich and varied forms, from teaching and learning products – technologies, programs, applications, digital learning suites and software, educational content and materials. And to services covering teacher training, pedagogical and vocational programs, as well as multi-functional solutions in the physical and digital learning environments.
Education Finland promotes deep and diverse cooperation amongst member organizations, linking us with international partners, and connecting to new opportunities for business and collaboration.
Education Finland provides its members market research, insights and information to create opportunities and to identify potential clients. There’s strength in numbers! Together we can gain more influence as groups of companies, as opposed to acting individually. Read more

BUSINESS DELEGATION to Kazakhstan 24.-27.4.2018
Business Oulu is coordinating the Finnish Business Hub Astana, which serves the companies in our region in matters related to the markets in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is the most vibrant of the Central-Asian countries with its constantly growing economy (GDP). The country’s desire to increase foreign investments and to invest in its own development outside of the traditional oil and gas sector has opened up new business opportunities for Finnish companies as well. Potential is present in sectors such as cleantech and energy, healthcare, education and innovation systems in particular.
Business Oulu has arranged a business delegation trip to Astana at the end of April. Companies from Oulu will participate this trip with Educational and Cultural services of City of Oulu. Jussi Haukkamaa and Suvi Ilvesviita from PINO Network will also participate to the delegation. “During this trip we have a great opportunity to present our network and its services offered by our member companies to the top administration of the City of Astana and Kazakhstan Ministry of Education.” says Jussi Haukkamaa.
Head of the delegation will be Mika Penttilä, the director of Educational and Cultural services of City of Oulu. If your company is interested in doing business in Kazakhstan contact Jussi Haukkamaa, +358 40 195 5446 or Suvi Ilvesviita +358 50 310 4082.
