AINO-MAARIA RAUTENBACH

Aino-Maaria Rautenbach works as a Learning Environment Specialist at the Oulu University Teacher Training School. As part of her work, she works as a Future Classroom Lab Local Ambassador for the Teacher Training School. Rautenbach’s responsibilities also include the development and creation of training courses at the Oulu University Teacher Training School. Training courses are targeted to professionals in the field of teacher training and education in general.
Previously, Ms. Rautenbach has worked in the University of Oulu, Learning and Educational Technology Research unit, coordinating an International Master’s Degree Programme, as well as lived and worked abroad. Her core interest and skill is in Teacher Education.

 

Anne viherkari

Anne Viherkari works as an education designer at the University of Oulu Extension School. Having worked over 15 years at the university Ms. Viherkari has a wide perspective in many fields of the higher education. She helps to discover ideas of, develops and coordinates continuing education trainings together with the researchers and teachers of the multidisciplinary university and with experts in other organisations in the region.

Hannu Koivula

Hannu Koivula is the director at the Luovi Vocational College, the largest provider of special vocational education in Finland. Koivula is responsible for the management of education in all of 24 Luovi units.

Hannu Koivula is also a special teacher in Master of Education as well as a civil engineer

Johanna Lampinen (Med), International Education Coordinator in the Faculty of Education, University of Oulu. 

Lampinen has extensive theoretical and practical experience in pre- and in-service teacher training, educational development, inclusive education and development cooperation practices.  

As an experienced Universityand comprehensive education teacher, while being an expert in development cooperation activities Lampinen has holistic understanding of the Finnish education, teacher education structures and curricular development of teacher education.

jouni markkula

Adj. Prof. Jouni Markkula is an education manager of M3S, the Empirical Software Engineering research unit, of the University of Oulu. He is the Finnish coordinator of the joint Software Engineering B.Sc. degree programme of the University of Oulu and Nanjing Institute of Technology.

KIMMO KUORTTI

Kimmo Kuortti, Head of Global Education Solutions, School of Professional School of Professional Teacher Education at Oulu University of Applied Sciences. He is a Steering group member in the EAIE Expert Community Marketing and Recruitment.
Kimmo has previously worked as the Director of International Relations, lecturer, and Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment at the University of Oulu. He has done commissioned training for DAAD and presented in numerous national and international conferences.
His specialities are also human resources, team work and leadership and competence based learning. He graduated from University of Oulu with a Master’s of Arts degree.

 
 

MARI KONTTURI

Mari Kontturi, Manager of International Affairs, Luovi Vocational College, Finland.
She has 20 years’ experience in international cooperation and projects. Mari Kontturi holds a Master of Laws degree. She works as Manager of International Affairs at Luovi Vocational College in Finland, the largest special needs education provider in Finland and she has a qualification for teaching, too. She takes actively part in national and international networks and she serves as Executive Director for International Vocational Education and Training Association IVETA. She has also studied business administration, especially psychodynamics of Leadership, managing networks and diversity management and intercultural communications and has Diploma of Executive MBA.

Mika Aalto is the principal of Oulun Lyseon lukio Upper Secondary School, which offers both Finnish national program and IB Diploma program for upper secondary students. Oulun Lyseon lukio is one of the most notable upper secondary schools in Finland. The school has high-quality teaching staff combined with excellent Finnish educational innovations. The school was founded in 1874 − among alumni, there are several distinguished scholars, business leaders and politicians such as three presidents of Finland. Oulun Lyseo is starting a boarding school for students coming outside EU.

Mika Aalto is currently an assistant member of Finnish Matriculation Examination Board as well as member of the curriculum review committee.

Mikael Pentikäinen

Mikael Pentikäinen is CEO of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises since May 2016. He has been responsible for many leading media organisations in Finland: Executive Editor of the newspaper Maaseudun Tulevaisuus, Senior Editor-in-Chief of Helsingin Sanomat, the largest newspaper in Nordic countries, President of Sanoma News, President and Executive Editor of Finnish News Agency STT as well as of the newspaper Etelä-Saimaa. Raija Näppä

Raija Näppä is the vice principal of Oulu Vocational College, OSAO. She has a Master`s degree in education and she is also a trained pediatric nurse.

OSAO is a multidisciplinary vocational college, training competent professionals for the labour market. OSAO provides up-to-date education that is in line with the needs of work life. In terms of its appeal, the extent of its operations and results, OSAO is one of the leading vocational colleges in Finland.

Dr Raimo Salo develops and creates training courses at the Oulu University Teacher Training School. Training courses are targeted to professionals in the field of teacher training and education in general. Dr Salo has got working experience for more than 20 years in education including posts as a teacher, coordinator and project manager. He helps you and your organisation to find the best solutions to build up your professional competence in the field of education.

 
 

Teija Kyyriäinen

Teija Kyyriäinen is a teacher of early childhood education. She is working at the Sampola early childhood education centre in the City of Oulu.  Sampola offers early childhood education services and facilitates teacher training and scientific research in collaboration with the City of Oulu and the University of Oulu. Sampola is also taking part in European Union Erasmus+ program in which development of teachers know-how is supported via international co-operation.
